How to Reach Us
The Hotel is located on Alfred Terrace above Great Western Road where we are nestled in the heart of Glasgow’s West End. Byres Road, the Botanic Gardens and Glasgow University are all within a short walk. The Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Riverside Museum (Transport Museum) and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) are also located within easy reach of The Alfred.
The Alfred itself is located within close proximity to bus and subway routes, allowing you to travel into Glasgow City Centre and beyond with ease.
Whether you are travelling by Bus, Train or Plane, we have put together some directions to make getting to us a little easier!
Please note that regrettably, due to our hotel’s location in the West End of Glasgow, we do not have on-site parking. You can however stop at 1 Hillhead St to drop off bags and unload but then the nearest free parking we can suggest is on Queen Margaret Drive, or there is pay-and-display parking nearby.
